De Bonte Cleaning Service is a professional cleaning company. They do all common cleaning tasks, cleaning of facades, windows, framers, dormers, solar panels and garden paving.

PROBLEM

The previous website faced challenges with a dark and overwhelming design, unclear navigation, distracting animations and a lack of mobile responsiveness. This compromised user experience and put them at a competitive disadvantage in the market.

DESIGN PROCESS

As the product designer, I worked closely with the Digital Pandas development team. We planned the site structure using information architecture and refined it with Figma wireframes. The visual styles were inspired by the previous logo for a integrated design. Our approach aimed at continuous improvement in line with user preferences and project goals.

Solution

The redesigned website provides a cleaner, user-friendly experience with improved visibility. A lighter text version ensures readability, while clear navigation and concise card details streamline the user journey. Responsive design and strategic contact form enhance engagement, creating a modern and professional online presence that addresses initial challenges.

REFLECTION

Looking back at the project, I faced challenges in communication and process efficiency. The focus on writing a clear style guide was crucial, highlighting the need for straightforward documentation. Taking a structured approach helped streamline workflows, highlighting the significance of precision in communication for a successful project outcome.
